“Fun and excitement unlimited” - Party Games just for you

What can be more amusing in a party more than games and some great
fun? It applies to all sections of ages starting from little kids in
their nappies, to young people of twenties, and old grey-bearded people.
They are most popular among children though, who, like what we were in
our hey-days, can never think away from playing around all the time. It
is their greatest form of socializing with same age-group people, and
the best way to enjoy. So, in a theme-party, the most important part
becomes a party game, which can be held anytime, maybe after the prime
meal, before it, or even in the middle of anything. For many years,
tailing the donkey or musical chairs has played the prime feed for
amusement and fun in parties. But it is fast changing with different
kinds of new innovative games based on various themes coming up these
days. The real fun still lies in musical chairs, where upon the playing
of music competitors’ rum around a circle of seats on offer for them,
which are one less than the number of participants in every round. So,
in every round, one of them gets eliminated. How do they get eliminated?
Well, as soon as the music stops playing, the participants are supposed
to get seated on any of the seats on offer. The one standing without any
seats left for him is the one to be eliminated. It is really fun to be
jostling with seats at the of every music session. There are comic ends
to every round, which leaves everyone, from the participants to those
cheering them laughing in fits. The new games on offer depend on what
the main theme is.
The Noddy themed parties can involve various such parties, which can be
like, with fancy titles. Some of them along with their features are
added below. Noddy’s Musical Bumps
Requirements: Music
The children dance to the music, gets them to nod their heads like Noddy
or bounce around like Bumpy Dog.
When the music stops they have to sit down immediately. The last one to
sit down each round is out.
The child left at the end is the winner.
Pin the tail on Bumpy Dog
Requirements: A picture of Bumpy Dog, a tail for each child with
their name attached, blindfold, sticky tape.
Use a picture of Bumpy Dog, with an X marked to denote the position of
the tail.
Stick it up, at a height where children can reach easily.
Put a strip of sticky tape on the end of each tail so they can stick.
When you call a child, blindfold him, and turn him around. Then let him
attempt to stick on the tail.
After every child has had a go, the winner is the one whose tail is
closest to the X. Mr. Plod’s Traffic Lights
Requirements: Card circles of red, orange, and green.
All the children run around pretending to be cars and shouting “Parp,
parp!”
When you shout, “Halt in the name of Plod!” and hold up your red circle
the children have to stop and stand still.
“Carry on!” and holding green card gets them running again.
When you shout, “You’re going too fast!”, and show the orange circle,
they have to slow down to a walking pace.
There’s no winner, only hectic fun! Where’s Noddy?
Requirements: Pictures of items around the house, a picture of Noddy,
and a small prize. Use the clues and place them around the house.
Each clue leads to the next location, e.g. the picture of a TV leads the
children there
to find the picture of the bath.
Start the children off by giving them the first picture clue and tell
them they have to
find Noddy. Accompany them as they head to the each location.
The end of the trail leads to a picture of Noddy and some small prizes
for all the
children.
